Strangy.com - my new experimental project designed to help people who experience a lack of social interactions, feel lonely or just looking for a casual conversation to fill the void.
No Personal Info
You don't have to specify any personal info, provide phone number or email. You can stay anonymous and don't share this info with any user.
Instead of providing personal info, names, age, location - you can use tags to characterize yourself and your interests.
No Privacy
To make sure that this place doesn't turn into another social network or dating website I decided to make all conversations of every user open. You can go to the user page and see who they are interacting with, read messages if you like. This way it will discourage users to share personal info and looking for dates.
Ranking system and karma
During or after every conversation you can increment or decrement karma of your strangie and write a short feedback about them. This way every user has feedback from strangies they were interacting with that contains votes (plus or minus) and text feedback, so before inviting someone or accepting an invitation from someone you can take a look at the reviews and then decide whether to start chat with that person or not.
Also karma votes are used to give extra abilities and features like getting more votes, sending more invites, using pictures in the messages, adding tags etc.
